California Instruments Becomes a Division of the Ametek Group

I am delighted to announce that effective Thursday, December 13^th, 2007; California Instruments Corp. became a member of the Ametek Group of companies, specifically reporting to the Power Systems and Instruments Division. AMETEK is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with annualized sales of $2 billion.

 At this time, I do not anticipate any changes with California Instruments other than ownership. There will be no changes to rep and distributor agreements at this time. All Senior Managers and I will remain with California Instruments and will continue to be here to support you through this transition. There will be further announcements when more information becomes available. I see nothing but increased growth and business opportunities for all of the California Instruments Team.
